Q:Hi!
Can you tell me if I ate healthy for breakfast today? I have no clue, & now I'm freaking out.
I ate 3/4 cup (the serving size) of cap'n crunch cereal. I know it's not the healthy kind like special K but it's only 100 calories..
I used 1/2 cup of milk. I don't use regular milk, I drink Blue Diamond Almond milk. It's only 90 calories and way healthier than regular milk.
Then I ate 1 slice of butterbread (60 cals) w/ a tsp of earth balance (organic vegan 'butter')- (80 cals).
Don’t worry about it! You’re fine! But I am not sure how you’re still not hungry after that.
I freaking love Captain Crunch, but I haven’t had it since starting my diet. I honestly would stay away from it, I have heard it is the least healthy cereal there is.. pretty much.
Milk-wise, I love Blue Diamond Almond milk! It’s so good, really healthy, contains so much calcium and tastes SO good.
Butterbread? I am not sure what that is. But, “butter” is a no-no. Stay away from butter whenever and whenever. Even if it is “organic vegan ‘butter’”
Maybe pair off a serving size of cereal with fruit or eggs next time :)

I’d also opt for unsweetened almond milk. It tastes great and has way less sugar.
