Q:But if the elliptical is alright how come I lost 6.5 pounds this month? That all the exercise I did for five days a week.

Well there are a lot of reasons as to why you may have lost 6.5 lbs this month. I did the elliptical —> I lost 6.5 lbs. This is not necessarily a cause and effect. There are a lot of causes to your effect, and even though I may sound like a statistics teacher, it’s true. 

1. You may be doing more exercise than you were doing before

2. You may be eating healthier

3. You may be eating less

4. Someone might have chopped off your arm

The reasons are endless to the reasons of your weight-loss. There is nothing wrong with the elliptical, there is just bigger benefits you get from the treadmill or stairmaster
