Q:My friend said the elliptical doesn't work for anything. Is that true?

Seriously this is SUCH a good question!

I agree and disagree. 

The elliptical is easy and will really help you get your stamina up when you put the right amount of resistance and things on it; however, most people choose to do the elliptical because it’s the easiest. The elliptical pretty much gives you so much assistance in performing the workout, that it is essentially useless. I think the elliptical is good for anyone first beginning cardio, but if you want real results I would stick to either the treadmill or stairmaster!
