2011 Resolution Revisted

New year, new choices, new chances, new experiences, new opportunities, new weight. I’m not going to be down on myself. It is extremely hard for a person to stick to their goals during the holidays. However, it is a new year and I plan to do some serious damage.

My goals:

1. Stop being so lazy. Do your homework. Turn in quality work.

This honestly has not really happened. I do all of my homework, but I think I could turn in better quality work. I will continue to improve on this.

2. Become more social, yeah, you’re an introvert.. but so what?

This has definitely happened. I have made so many new friends. Being my first year of college I feel as though I had a chance to reinvent myself.

3. Work out every single day, and if you miss a day, make up for it the next.

I did this for a long time and I think it is how I lost so much weight so quickly, but honestly I do not think it was a good idea. I became somewhat gym-bulimic and extremely obsessed. I’d saying working out 4-6 days a week will do.

4. Be able to run 5 miles by next year

YES YES YES

5. Record my caloric intake without being too obsessive

I have done well with counting my calories. I don’t do it much anymore because I don’t feel I need to, but I always have it in mind which leads me to make smart decisions.

6. Improve my mile time by at least a minute

I improved it by 3! It went from around 10 —> 7 minutes!

7. Lose at least 10 pounds and get abs :)

I lost 30!! But I definitely still don’t have abs yet

8. Save money

Haha yeah right, I’m working on getting an off-campus job though!

9. Graduate with a 4.0 (currently a 3.85)

I GRADUATED WITH A 4.12, helllzzz yeah

2011, I have big plans for you and I.

I believe I did really well! I accomplished many of my fitness goals. I’m going to try and come up with a list of things I want to accomplish for the up-and-coming year. I am really glad I set all of these goals, it’s really nice looking back on them and seeing how much I’ve done and how far I have come.
